One-Way fares, 10-Ride fares and Monthly Passes are available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and after 7 p.m., and anytime on weekends, holidays and national recognized holidays (some restrictions may apply). Reduced fares are also available for seniors 65 or older, customers with disabilities, Medicare cardholders and members of the military who present proper identification.
A reduced rate is also available for prearranged groups of 25 passengers or more – just fill out our Group Travel Request Form and we will contact you within two business days to schedule your travel. You can save up to 50 percent off the One-Way or 10-Ride fare when you travel with a group.
Kids ride FREE on weekends and select holidays with Metra’s Family Fares. Up to three children age 11 and under can ride free with a paid adult.
Seniors can ride for a reduced fee using their Metra Senior Pass, which includes a 50% discount on the One-Way and 10-Ride fares. For more information on Senior Fares, visit the Metra website.
Student fares are also available on weekdays and all day on weekends, holidays and on national recognized holidays (some restrictions may apply). Full-time students enrolled in grade school or high school can purchase a reduced One-Way, 10-Ride or Monthly Pass. They must present a valid letter of certification from their school on school stationery or a valid school ID bearing their name, school name and authorized signature.
